About the Position

Expert - Data Analyst

We are looking for an Expert - Data Analyst to join our team at ING Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing managerial reports, analyzing data, and supporting business banking decisions. Responsibilities

• Prepare managerial reports, analyses, and present findings and recommendations in an accessible, business-oriented manner
• Create inspiring presentations to support key decision-making in the Business Banking sector
• Analyze issues related to business clients and the effectiveness of processes and products
• Monitor KPIs and support business areas in their interpretation
• Integrate various data sources - commercial, financial, risk, and external
• Responsible for ongoing support in reporting and ad-hoc analyses
• Collaborate with the ING Group and bank management
• Participate in international projects within the ING Group

Requirements

• Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, or related fields
• Comfortable with data-driven storytelling - PowerPoint is a tool for building narratives, not just slides
• Minimum of 2 years of experience - preferably in the banking or financial sector
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, SQL/SAS are a plus)
• Ability to independently analyze data and formulate clear business conclusions
• Excellent organizational skills, responsibility, and a focus on high quality
• Ability to communicate with the business and translate financial data in a comprehensible and engaging way
• English language proficiency at least at level B2
