We are seeking a skilled Frontend / React developer to join our team in Prague, Czech Republic, for a hybrid role.

Role Description

About the Role

We run a large multi-brand WordPress VIP platform. Our frontend ecosystem consists of multiple TypeScript and React applications running across the platform:

Public-facing websites
Gutenberg block editor experiences
Custom WordPress admin dashboards

You will own and evolve these React applications, the typed PHP ↔ React contracts that power them, and the tooling that keeps everything reliable and maintainable.

What You'll Work On

Our React applications live across multiple plugins and products within the platform. Typical projects include:

Frontend Experiences

React applications rendered through Gutenberg blocks
Filterable content listings and search experiences
URL-synchronized application state
Server data integration using React Query

Dynamic Form Platforms

Configuration-driven forms defined in PHP
Generic React form rendering engines
Conditional field logic and dynamic workflows
Schema-based validation
Synchronous and asynchronous validation mechanisms

Platform Engineering

Maintaining typed contracts between PHP and React
Improving frontend tooling and developer experience
Supporting code generation and schema validation workflows
Ensuring consistency across multiple applications and brands

What Makes This Role Different

React Inside WordPress

You won't be building a standalone React application. Your components will run across public websites, Gutenberg editor experiences, and WordPress administration interfaces. This requires working within WordPress rendering, styling, and performance constraints.

Typed PHP ↔ React Contracts

Frontend applications consume strongly typed contracts generated from PHP. You'll regularly read PHP code to understand data structures and ensure frontend implementations stay aligned with backend fixtures and schemas.

Enterprise-Scale Platform

You'll work within a large WordPress VIP and Composer-based monorepo. While deep PHP expertise isn't required, understanding how frontend assets move through the build and deployment pipeline is important.

Healthcare Environment

The platform serves multiple markets and languages. Accessibility, correctness, localization, and RTL support are first-class requirements rather than afterthoughts.

Required Experience

Frontend Development

Strong experience with React 18 and TypeScript
Experience working in strictly typed codebases
Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture

Styling & UI Development

Strong CSS fundamentals
Understanding of specificity and the CSS cascade
Responsive design experience
RTL layout implementation
Experience styling React applications within larger ecosystems

Data & Validation

Experience with server-state management (React Query or similar)
Runtime schema validation using zod or comparable tools
API integration and data modeling

Engineering Practices

Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines
Experience maintaining generated artifacts and code generation workflows
Strong attention to quality and maintainability

Product Mindset

Good understanding of accessibility standards
Experience with internationalization and localization requirements
