About the Position
Global Reinsurance Lead Consultant

The power of collaboration and the limitless potential of Sollers people are at the root of our success. We strive to be the best at what we do, both in the eyes of our team and our customers. We put people at the heart of every project.
Join us and make Sollers be driven by… you!
About Reinsurance:
As Reinsurance competency at Sollers we are serving increasingly demanding clients and distribution partners, many insurance companies are still behind in terms of the speed and quality of their digital services. They are facing lack of centralised source of information and process flows in their reinsurance department, while depending on legacy solutions including Excel spreadsheets, which creates bottlenecks within increasingly complex processes and makes it more difficult to ensure data quality. Our Reinsurance Competence equips clients in solutions and tools optimizing decision-making processes, minimizing claims leakage, ensuring accurate reporting, and servicing of reinsurance programs.
About the role. You will:
- Take ownership of Sollers’ Reinsurance Competency, shaping its strategic direction and evolution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients during modernization and digital transformation initiatives in reinsurance.
- Co-create presales materials, value propositions, case studies, and demos with Sales and Delivery.
- Represent Sollers as a Reinsurance Expert in client meetings, discovery sessions, and workshops.
- Develop internal knowledge assets (frameworks, methodologies, accelerators) and contribute to capability growth.
- Support delivery teams in solution design, architecture validation, and ensuring alignment with reinsurance best practices.
- Collaborate with other competences (Data, QA, Cloud, etc.) to build integrated, end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor consultants and support the development of reinsurance expertise across the organization.
About the requirements. You need:
- Experience delivering reinsurance, finance, or risk-related technology projects within large insurers or reinsurers.
- Strong understanding of reinsurance processes: treaty & facultative handling, claims, accounting, reporting, and data flows.
- Minimum 3 years in roles such as Reinsurance Consultant, Solution Architect, Product Owner, Offering Lead, or similar.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and integration scenarios for finance and reinsurance platforms.
- Good understanding of IT delivery, implementation methodologies, and data management principles.
- Ability to translate reinsurance needs into solution concepts, process improvements, and target operating models.
- Excellent communication skills, including comfort working with senior stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Reinsurance/Finance/Risk).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to build reinsurance-focused business cases and ROI justifications.
- Experience working in cross-functional agile teams and ability to operate independently when required.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with the ability to navigate evolving market trends.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills (at least C1 level).
About the wishes. Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of reinsurance platforms, reporting tools, or accounting systems.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior colleagues.
- Practical understanding of reinsurance programs in large insurers or reinsurers.
- Exposure to cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Fluency in additional languages, preferably French or German.
- Good understanding of UK / DACH insurance markets and existing relations with senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting capability building within a reinsurance domain.
About our promises. We can offer:
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid home office model (2-3 times per week in the office) as work-life balance is crucial at Sollers.
- A chance to be promoted twice a year and a clearly defined career path with salary forecast.
- Opportunities for growth with a training budget that you can use for courses and conferences. We also provide access to an online training platform and co-fund language classes.
- An internal coach to guide you through the onboarding, further training, and career opportunities, plus a budget to be used for your lunches together.
- A chance to #domore for the planet and the community as part of Sollers Change Makers – our volunteering program.

Tips & Tricks
Daria, Senior Consultant
My top 3 tips for an interview at Sollers are:
-
Prepare well! Before the interview and tests, I solved some brain teasers and practiced how to present my knowledge and experience.
-
Share your questions and thinking! When solving brain teasers & analytical questions I shared my assumptions & thoughts with the recruiter.
-
Know the business! Get familiar with Sollers, the industry, and business partners.
Sandra, Consultant
After working in the finance industry for over a decade and already gathering knowledge in the area of IT projects, it was clear to me where to head next. So when I started as a Senior Analyst at Sollers in mid 2020, I was looking forward to dive deeper into the world of IT and project management. My main assignment is at one of the biggest German insurers where I'm supporting the digital transformation.
What I probably appreciate most at Sollers is being surrounded by competent and motivated people. A lot of frequent knowledge exchange and the possibility to take active parts in projects helps you to grow steadily. And a transparent path of promotion lets you build your own career.
