Information Technology Director

About the Position

TSGR Solutions, a rapidly growing and profitable engineering and environmental services provider, is seeking an experienced Information Technology Director to lead our corporate IT team and manage our business technology services. In this role, you will oversee the ongoing needs assessment and change management of our current and future technology services. You will establish priorities for feasibility studies, recommend system design changes, and implement strategies for new IT systems and software to ensure efficiency, security, quality, and cost-effective management of our computer and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate the Corporate Information Technology team.
• Ensure the efficient and effective company-wide implementation of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite solution, r12.
• Support the training and utilization of Oracle ERP and Salesforce.com CRM tools to facilitate information exchange, consolidate pricing models, and better promote products and services.
• Manage corporate network (intranet, internet, firewall, LAN/WAN, domain, VPN).
• Manage corporate software footprint (email, virus protection, desktop software), as well as corporate servers (portal, local file system, ftp-htp servers).
• Continually evaluate legislation and public policy regarding security technology and recommend changes as needed to protect the interests of the company, shareholders, and customers.
• Prepare departmental budgets, including capital funding requests with justifications.
• Evaluate the performance of direct reports against agreed upon goals and objectives.
• Remain abreast of technology changes, industry trends, and new IT innovations.
• Represent the company to customers, affiliated trade associations, and local, state, and federal government entities.
• Promote a culture that encourages innovation, creativity, efficiency, and personal ownership.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related IT degree.
• 10+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years of Leadership, Managerial, or Supervisory experience.
• Strong systems and procedures knowledge base with Oracle Enterprise Business Software with software configuration and development of the Oracle E-Business Suite, r12 (Financials, Field Service, Order Management, Projects, Inventory/BOM).
• Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills with expert-level knowledge of MS Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally (<20%).
