About the Position

ETERNA LAW, a top-5 law firm in Ukraine and a leading firm according to Legal 500 EMEA 2023, is seeking a highly motivated intern to join their corporate law and M&A practice team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough research and preparing clear and creative reports based on the results for use by the team in developing project strategy and documentation.
• Participating in the preparation and review of documents.
• Participating in the development of legislative changes.
• Analyzing judicial practice to ensure the best protection of clients' interests in contract execution and other legal transactions.
• Interacting with government agencies, notaries, and banks.
• Participating in the preparation of legal opinions.
• Creating presentations in PowerPoint and participating in writing articles for reputable online and offline publications.

Requirements

• Interested student or graduate of a law faculty.
• Proficiency in English at least at the B2 level (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Relevant work experience is a plus.
• Residence in Kyiv.
• Quick learner, attentive, and persistent.
• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team player.
• Ability to multitask when necessary.
• Good sense of humor.
