Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of investment vehicle product launches and material product changes (e.g., guidelines, liquidations/mergers) of varying complexity and type through effective planning, organization, communication, implementation, and management of corresponding project teams.

• Ensure maximized value by ensuring connection to overall product strategy throughout the product life cycle.
• Focus on improving product launch and execution capabilities across Europe and Asia by creating seamless connections between product development, planning, and delivery capabilities.
• Partner with Product Group leaders to lead, develop, and oversee the delivery of a portfolio of product development and launch initiatives aligned with strategic business plans.
• Lead efforts to develop and analyze options to solve strategic business problems related to product launches and product changes, including product management and implementation of regulatory obligations.
• Partner with stakeholders to recommend appropriate approaches for solving business challenges and ensuring alignment with global product priorities.
• Develop subject matter expertise in detailed end-to-end product launch processes and requirements and understand the impacts to the various enterprise teams.
• Continually look for ways to scale product launch capabilities, identify, and implement continuous improvement.

Requirements

• All applicants must have at least 5 years of Investment Management experience, including launching new funds.
• Minimum of seven years of project management experience with a track record of successful execution of assigned projects to deliver business outcomes based on key drivers (e.g., time, budget, resources, scope).
• Experience working in the asset/investment management industry (e.g., mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, collective investment trusts, private funds) and/or familiarity with a wide variety of investment products and vehicles including UCITS Funds would be strongly preferred for this role.
• Experience working with product development, product planning, and/or product launch leading successful business or technology enterprise projects from initiation through deployment.
• Skilled communicator who can facilitate ambiguous and challenging discussions. Fine-tuned communication style to connect with a variety of stakeholders including executive-level stakeholders.
• Partnered cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence and courage to influence others and add value with a focus on understanding and managing the impact of change.
• Previous success with strategic and/or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), and the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work.
• When developing and executing a plan, consider long-term impacts and make a personal commitment to exploring diverse perspectives and dissenting viewpoints with a continuous improvement mindset.
