About the Position

IT Business Analyst - IFS @ING Hubs Romania

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst for the International Finance System (IFS) at ING Hubs Romania. IFS is an in-house developed core banking system for Wholesale Banking clients, offering essential services such as payment and cash management, lending, and financial market services. The system operates in 8 countries and integrates with ING's finance and risk systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to application users by resolving incidents.
• Participate in feature description and outline logical architecture solutions.
• Coordinate and align with stakeholders to fit changes in release.
• Organize peer-to-peer reviews with senior analysts.
• Assist in testing, implementation, and migration activities.
• Use AI in daily activities.
• Assist stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

• Writing pseudocode and solving easy programming problems.
• Comfortable writing medium difficulty SQL queries daily (JOINs, sub queries, GROUP BY, HAVING).
• Experience in a software development team in roles such as Technical Business Analyst/Tester/Developer.
• Fluent in English; communicating with offshore teams daily.

Nice to Have

• Core banking experience.
• Agile methodology.
• Efficient AI prompting knowledge.
• Knowledge of Banking/payments SWIFT standard (e.g., MT103, 101, 202, 202COV, 203, 200, 210).
