About the Position

IT Business Analyst | Pricing Tribe | IPA Data Product

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our Pricing Tribe at ING Hubs Romania. This role focuses on the IPA Data Product and financial markets, providing critical support and analysis.

Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the link between SDM’s Business or IT stakeholders and the development team.
• Identifying, analyzing, and specifying business/IT requirements, translating them into user stories or functional specifications.
• Writing clear product requirements, data requirements, and user stories with explicit acceptance criteria.
• Enabling the Product Owner to manage the work stream, its deliverables, and timelines.
• Defining data quality rules and identifying ways to measure them to proactively address potential impacts on stakeholders.
• Testing developed software to ensure it meets requirements and helping to improve automated test frameworks.
• Supporting users with investigations on business flows and defects encountered during testing.
• Presenting delivered stories to stakeholders during sprint reviews.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing between squad members.
• Continuously improving the delivery process by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
• Maintaining functional and technical documentation up to date and easily accessible.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst in Financial Markets and/or Treasury.
• Skills / Knowledge:
  • Experience with static data management and financial markets products.
  • In-depth experience with data query languages (SQL).
  • Experience with data analysis tooling such as Python/Pandas, Excel.
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum way of working.
  • In-depth experience in refinement and translation of user requirements.
  • Innovative ability to convert market developments and customer feedback into vision and strategy for WB Tech & ING.
  • Strong "business sense" combined with the ability to research new topics to develop insights and drive actionable results.
  • Strong analytical and literacy skills with attention to detail.
  • Communicative, accurate, and able to work with challenging deadlines.
  • Proactive and able to work in cross-border international teams.
  • Affinity with IT and technology.

Nice to Have

• Experience in risk management.
• Experience with financial markets regulations.
• Familiarity with BABOK Guide (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).
• CBAP certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
• Experience with tooling for creating diagrams (MS Visio, Draw.io).

Languages

• English: Excellent level.

Education

• Completed education at Bachelor/Master level in Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
