About the Position

IT Business Analyst | Pricing Tribe | IPA Data Product @ING Hubs Romania

We are looking for a dedicated IT Business Analyst to join our Pricing Tribe at ING Hubs Romania. This role focuses on the IPA Data Product, which is integral to our financial markets operations.

Responsibilities

Serve as the link between SDM’s Business or IT stakeholders and the development team.
Identify, analyze, and specify business/IT requirements, translating them into user stories or functional specifications.
Write clear product requirements, data requirements, and user stories with explicit acceptance criteria.
Enable the Product Owner to manage the work stream, its deliverables, and timelines.
Define data quality rules and ways to measure them with the team.
Test developed software to ensure it meets requirements and help improve automated test frameworks.
Support users with investigations on business flows and defects encountered during testing.
Present delivered stories to stakeholders during sprint reviews.
Facilitate knowledge sharing between squad members.
Continuously improve the delivery process by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
Maintain functional and technical documentation up to date and easily accessible.

Requirements

Experience:
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst in Financial Markets and/or Treasury.
Skills / knowledge:
- Mandatory:
  - Experience with static data management and financial markets products.
  - In-depth experience with data query languages (SQL).
  - Experience with data analysis tooling such as Python/Pandas, Excel.
  - Experienced in Agile/Scrum way of working.
  - In-depth experience in refinement and translation of user requirements.
  - Innovative ability to convert market developments and customer feedback into vision and strategy for WB Tech & ING.
  - Strong "business sense" combined with the ability to research new topics to develop insights and drive actionable results.
  - Strong analytical and literacy skills with attention to details.
  - Communicative, accurate, and able to work with challenging deadlines.
  - Proactive and able to work in cross-border international teams.
  - Affinity with IT and technology.
- Nice to have:
  - Experience in risk management.
  - Experience with financial markets regulations.
  - Familiarity with BABOK Guide (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).
  - CBAP certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
  - Experience with tooling for creating diagrams (MS Visio, Draw.io).

Language

English (excellent level)

Education

Completed education at Bachelor/Master level in Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
