Veolia Group is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor/實驗室主任 to lead the lab team in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, ensuring all testing and experiments are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

Laboratory Operations

• Prepare containers, collect and/or receive samples, and ensure sample representativeness.
• Perform analysis according to relevant procedures and/or standards, ensuring compliance and validity of laboratory analysis.
• Ensure laboratory operations comply with all regulations and contractual requirements.
• Monitor, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment daily.
• Participate in the development of method validation documents.
• Record and distribute analysis results.
• Report anomalies (e.g., exceeding limits, sample failure, triggering quality alert procedures) and calculate target operating parameters based on results.
• Manage and monitor laboratory budget and expenses.

Internal Customer Relations

• As a core service department, the laboratory must closely collaborate with multiple departments (e.g., business, operations, delivery), especially during new business process acceptance, receiving anomalies, handling performance issues, or non-conformities.

QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment)

• Ensure employee safety and enforce the group's safety policies, implementing current safety directives, procedures, and operation manuals.
• Supervise the execution of health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures and regulations, and propose improvement suggestions.
• Lead departmental work, coordinate human and material resources, and optimize operational processes while adhering to current regulations and company procedures (especially environmental procedures).
• Conduct on-site management to ensure tasks are performed under optimal safety conditions.
• Foster team spirit and support the skill development of the laboratory team.

Requirements

Necessary Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in analytical and characterization methods.
• Familiarity with process engineering; understanding of the processes using the laboratory in the operational site.
• Familiarity with process safety management.
• Ability to use digital solutions.
• Familiarity with quality procedures and standards.
• Basic knowledge of accounting.
• Fluent in Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing); basic proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

• Ability to coordinate stakeholder teams; team management and collaboration skills.
