About the Position
We are seeking a MuleSoft Integration Developer with 4+ years of experience to design and implement intelligent document processing workflows and API-led connectivity architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Build and deploy Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) workflows, including document classification, extraction, and validation pipelines
- Design and implement API-led connectivity architecture (System, Process, and Experience APIs)
- Integrate MuleSoft with enterprise systems (Salesforce, SAP, ERP, databases, third-party APIs)
- Optimize IDP models/extraction rules for accuracy across structured and unstructured document types (invoices, contracts, forms, etc.)
- Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting across integration flows
- Manage API lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, versioning, and deprecation via Anypoint Exchange and API Manager
- Ensure integration solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements (OAuth2, JWT, TLS, encryption)
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical designs
- Conduct code reviews and enforce integration development best practices/standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including document extraction errors and integration failures
- Create and maintain technical documentation (design docs, runbooks, API specs)
- Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience
- Proven, hands-on experience with MuleSoft Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) - building document extraction workflows, training/tuning extraction models, integrating IDP outputs into downstream systems
- Strong experience with Anypoint Platform: Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange
- Deep understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OpenAPI design
- Strong DataWeave 2.0 skills for complex data transformations
- Experience with connectors (Salesforce, Database, HTTP, SFTP, etc.) and custom connector development
- Solid understanding of integration patterns (sync/async, batch, pub-sub, event-driven)
- Experience with security implementations: OAuth 2.0, JWT, Client ID Enforcement, mTLS
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools

Preferred availability: 9AM - 3PM EST
