About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer for a large banking transformation program, focusing on data center networking, firewall security, and routing. This role is fully remote.
What you will work on
You will help design and operate data center networks, protect critical infrastructure, improve security policy, and build reliable routing for a complex banking environment.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on data center networking experience.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, and data center network design.
- Practical experience with BGP, OSPF, VXLAN EVPN.
- Confident operation of Cisco Nexus and Cisco Catalyst equipment.
- Strong knowledge of NAT, VPN, VLAN, routing, and network architecture.
- Practical work with next-generation firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Firepower, WAF, or comparable platforms.
- Ability to analyze network traffic and logs with tcpdump, Wireshark, or similar tools.
- Experience operating Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, or ASR equipment.
Nice to Have
- Experience operating Cisco ACI.
- Cisco ISE integration experience, including 802.1X, TrustSec, or SGT.
- Cisco CCNP DC or CCIE DC certification.
- Infrastructure automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or APIs.
- Zero Trust, microsegmentation, or TrustSec implementation experience.
- Experience with hybrid on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
