About the Position

Netzwerkadministrator (m/w/d)

medatixx GmbH & Co. KG, a leading provider of practice software and IT services for outpatient medical facilities in Germany, is seeking a skilled Netzwerkadministrator to manage and optimize our network infrastructures in Cloud and On-Premise environments. With around 900 employees, we continuously develop our practice programs and offer central and on-site services for all forms of outpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and implement network infrastructures in Cloud and On-Premise environments
• Maintain, care for, and continuously develop existing network environments, ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance operation
• Configure and manage network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, VPN solutions, and other central network services
• Analyze disruptions, perform troubleshooting, and implement measures to optimize network security, high availability, and performance
• Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers to plan, accompany, and execute changes, extensions, and projects in the network environment

Requirements

• Completed training as a Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) or comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge in TCP/IP, VPN, Routing, Switching, and Layer-2 and Layer-3 network technologies
• Experience in the administration of network components, firewall and VPN environments, and the use of monitoring and documentation tools is advantageous
• Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable work, with good communication and team skills and a strong hands-on mentality
