About the Position
We are seeking a middle-level NodeJS Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our US-based consulting agency, Engenious, working remotely on backend projects.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and prioritize scope for development tasks while considering business needs, customer risks, and efficiency improvement.
- Write clean code with Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js) and maintain databases to develop functional server-side applications.
- Perform unit tests to optimize performance.
- Code review other team members' Pull Requests.
Requirements
- 3+ years of working professionally with NodeJS frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js.
- In-depth knowledge of client-server architecture and REST API.
- Experience with Agile practices (Scrum, Code Review, Pair programming).
- Strong database knowledge, specifically MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Be comfortable with the Linux environment.
- Typescript knowledge.
- Open AI integration experience.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Practical experience with unit testing tools.
- Communicating to the QA team “how” and “what” needs to be tested.
- English – Upper intermediate.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of GCP, AWS.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with web servers such as Nginx.
- The ability to configure CI/CD using Jenkins or analogies.
- Blockchain/NFT tools, platforms development experience.
