Oracle Xstore POS Consultant/Developer

About the Position

We are seeking an Oracle Xstore POS Consultant/Developer with expertise in Xstore implementation, customization, and support. The role involves designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Xstore POS solutions, supporting deployments, integrations, and ongoing enhancements. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, SQL/PLSQL, Xstore architecture, and experience working in retail POS environments.

Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Oracle Xstore POS applications based on client requirements.
• Customize Xstore workflows, screens, and functionalities to align with client specifications.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the implementation and integration of Xstore solutions.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of the POS systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to Xstore configurations and customizations.
• Stay updated with the latest Xstore features, patches, and upgrades to provide proactive recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Xstore with other enterprise systems.
• Provide ongoing support and resolve technical issues related to Xstore applications for clients.
• At least 2 Implementation and 2 Support projects for XStore (as mentioned below)

Requirements

• Proven experience in implementing and customizing Oracle Xstore Point of Sale solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Xstore architecture, configurations, and modules.
• Proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with relevant technologies such as XML, SQL, and web services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Good communication skills.
• Experience in onsite-offshore model
