Founded less than ten years ago, this is a small business, run by its founders who are heavily involved in developing the businesses products and strategy. The business is a rapidly growing tech company who develop specialised algorithms and software to help automate trading decisions.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a part-time Finance Accountant / Coordinator to support the Finance function as the business grows. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role offers a great deal of flexibility. The role has a variety of core responsibilities as well as project opportunities, and can evolve as the business grows.
The successful candidate will work part-time - approximately 10 hours per week over 2, 3 or 4 days from our London office (preferences will be discussed during the recruitment process).
- Reconciling financial accounts
- Reviewing budgets and projecting cash flow
- Reviewing VAT returns
- Managing creditors
- Managing service providers such as the external accountants and auditors
- Ad hoc analytical projects
- Processing invoices and making payments
About You
- Experience of management accounts
- Friendly, down-to-earth and enthusiastic
- Superb attention to detail, with excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong numeracy skills, with experience working with Excel
- Is self-motivated and uses initiative to spot opportunities or solve problems
- Reliable, honest and uses discretion when handling sensitive information
- Ideally an accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Ideally you will have a strong undergraduate degree
- Experience with Xero would be helpful but not required
