We are seeking a PEGA Expert to design and implement insurance tariff calculator solutions using the PEGA platform in Vienna, Austria, or remotely.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing insurance tariff calculator solutions using the PEGA platform
• Acting as Senior System Architect (SSA) and PEGA developer
• Ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and adherence to PEGA guardrails
• Translating tariff calculation and pricing requirements into PEGA case types, rules, data models, and decision logic
• Implementing and maintaining integrations with surrounding systems (e.g., core insurance systems, APIs, services) using REST/SOAP
• Supporting end-to-end delivery, including development, unit testing, deployment preparation, and release support
• Providing application support, including incident analysis, configuration management, change management, and production issue resolution
• Collaborating closely with business analysts, product owners, testers, and architects to ensure correct implementation of tariff and pricing logic
• Optimizing and troubleshooting PEGA applications to improve performance, stability, and maintainability of tariff calculation processes
• Ensuring proper documentation of architecture, tariff logic, integrations, and support procedures
• Contributing to knowledge transfer and coaching internal teams on PEGA best practices and tariff calculator implementation patterns

Requirements

• Expertise in PEGA
• Experience with REST and SOAP
