About the Position

Phone.com is seeking a PHP Developer to join our team in San Diego, CA. This is NOT a telecommute position. We're looking for a PHP developer who's ready to help build killer REST APIs and related apps to take our award-winning cloud communications platform to new heights. Responsibilities

Design, develop, extend, bugfix, test, & maintain our PHP-based APIs, SDKs, and related tooling.
Create robust applications leveraging PHP, Laravel/Lumen, Nginx, & MySQL.
Work in an agile team with flexibility to work independently and collaboratively.
Communicate effectively in individual and team settings.
Must be able to work flexible, extended hours if needed.

Requirements

Three+ years back end PHP programming building and maintaining object-oriented PHP.
Experience writing MySQL queries, including advanced filtering, joining, grouping, and sorting.
Understanding of REST, and prior experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Nice to Have

Experience with Laravel 5 and/or Lumen.
Proficiency in version control (Git).
