Join ING Bank as a Private Banker in Leuven, Belgium, and contribute to the growth of our Private Banking and Wealth Management division.

About the Team

Be part of a strong, talented team of experts. Our ambition is to grow our Private Bank. As a market leader in large family businesses, the potential for ING to grow in private banking is enormous. Write your own success story in Private Banking and Wealth Management!

You will join a team of 10 Private Bankers and 2 Sales and Service Officers (commercial support), supplemented by the support of portfolio managers and the Wealth Analysis Planner (a lawyer specialized in heritage planning). You will mainly work from Leuven.

Responsibilities

• Guide high-net-worth clients (Entrepreneurs & Executives) with a minimum invested fortune of over €500,000 through a holistic, tailored approach to protect and grow their wealth.
• Expand a Private Banking client portfolio by providing advice in the areas of asset management, estate planning, loans, and taxation, based on the personal situation, plans, and priorities of your clients.
• Manage a personal client portfolio of approximately 100 families by optimizing client relationships and ensuring retention.
• Recruit new clients within the Private Banking segment, including participation in public relations activities.
• Maintain close collaboration with the various internal entities involved in Private Banking (Asset Management, Wealth Analysis and Planning) by working with employees from the regional commercial network and the Business Center Midcorp.

• Achieving commercial objectives is a motivation for you.
• You have professional experience in investments and portfolio management and have good knowledge of legal, financial, and tax matters, ideally with the clientele Entrepreneurs & Managers.
• You are assertive and flexible depending on the situation.
• You are able to present complex matters in an accessible way.
• You have very broad general knowledge to be able to communicate fluently about the activities and interests of (future) clients.
• You have very good knowledge of Dutch (spoken and written). Knowledge of English is a plus.
