Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Private Banker Specialist to join our Affluents Team of Retail Affluent Tribes in our branches in Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia, Spain.

The responsibility of this team is to deliver exceptional service to our Affluent clients by helping them build well-balanced portfolios tailored to their knowledge, suitability, and future financial needs. Our goal is to increase our share of wallet with existing clients while attracting new Affluent clients. Our way of working is showcasing our distinctive approach, products, and proactive service model-anticipating client needs, removing friction, and creating a seamless and rewarding experience for both current and potential clients.

Responsibilities

As a Private Banker Specialist, you will:

• Contribute positively to delivering excellent service to clients, supporting them in reaching their financial goals through personalized advice and solutions that optimize the use of their savings. By consistently providing value, we help drive growth within the Affluent segment.
• Co-create the commercial strategy for the Affluent segment, fostering collaboration across all ING Spain T2D teams to ensure alignment, scalability, and impact. This joint effort aims to accelerate segment growth and strengthen our market positioning.
• Act as the first line of defense for the bank, working with integrity and always prioritizing the client’s best interest while strictly adhering to ING’s policies, regulatory standards, and ethical expectations. This reinforces trust and safeguards both the client and the institution.

Requirements

• University Degree in Economics, Business Administration (ADE) or similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial advisory roles for private banking clients.
• MiFID certification is mandatory.
• Skills in Collaboration, Risk Assessment, Market Awareness, Strategic Planning, Financial Advisors expertise, Client Relationship Management, Sales and Commercial Acumen, Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge, Effective Communication, Negotiation Skills, Tech-Savviness.
