About the Position

Product Designer

Join fonio as a Product Designer and shape the AI operating system for small businesses. Design core product areas end-to-end with high autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of core product areas end-to-end, in close collaboration with Product Engineering and our founders
• Talk to customers regularly and turn insights into design decisions
• Turn complex functionality into simple and easy-to-use experiences
• Shape and scale our product design system
• Prototype fast with AI tools (Cursor, v0, Claude, and others) to get from idea to testable flow in hours, not weeks
• Use analytics to measure what works, and iterate

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product design, ideally in a small, fast-moving product team (portfolio required)
• Exceptional design craft: interaction detail, hierarchy, typography, and motion
• High autonomy: you take ownership without needing much structure
• Experience with design systems and shipping features end-to-end
• Product and analytics thinking: you don't design from your gut, you measure
• AI-first mindset
• Fluent English (any additional language is a plus, especially German)
