Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the planning team and ensure team leadership.
• Be responsible for production planning, outsourcing, material planning, demand planning, and overall for the designated product line.
• Provide continuous analysis and information, report to the Planning Manager if any potential risks that may cause actual performance to fall behind the target.
• Set up, monitor, and control team performance, including task completion, KPI targets, and daily/weekly/monthly activities of team members.
• Coordinate and work with all related departments, including Commercial, Finance, Purchasing, and Production, to take prompt action from a planning perspective to ensure department performance is on track.
• Maintain and upgrade planning and all related processes to ensure the proper workflow of the department.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by the Planning Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of SML or related experience.
• Supervisory or Lead experience.
• Thorough understanding of all fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of Production, Planning, Inventory Management, and all related focus areas.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Excel, Google Workspace, VBA, Appscript, Oracle, ERP system, Automation, and function-specific software.
• Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent project management and business partnering skills.
• Excellent supervisory skills.
• Full knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
