QA Automation Engineer

About the Position

Somplo is an Israeli / Ukrainian tech-based company, specializing in digital advertising solutions for major agencies and international leading brands. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Odesa, Ukraine. This is a HYBRID position (Odesa only) where candidates must be based in Odesa, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to understand system functionalities and define automation requirements
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts
• Identify opportunities for automation and develop strategies for implementation
• Continuously improve and optimize existing test automation frameworks
• Document automation processes and maintain clear and concise test scripts
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automation tools and technologies

Requirements

• Experience as QA: 5+ years
• Experience as QA Automation: 4+ years
• Experience in Playwright, TS
• Experience with BrowserStack
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Nice to Have

• Manual QA experience
• Experience in writing AQA tests
• Willingness to learn and initiative
• A passion for automation and a desire to continuously learn and improve
