About the Position

Dreamport is a global travel platform that enables individuals in Ethiopia to engage in customer support and travel-related services while working remotely. This opportunity is especially relevant for candidates searching for remote call center roles, English-speaking customer support positions, or remote freelance opportunities with international clients.

You will communicate with customers from different countries, assist them with travel planning, and support the booking process using modern booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries related to flights and travel services
• Communicate clearly in English with international customers
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable travel options
• Use booking systems to search and confirm travel services
• Provide consistent and high-quality customer support
• Follow up with customers and maintain relationships
• Ensure accuracy in bookings and communication

Requirements

• Good spoken and written English
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Stable internet connection
• Ability to work independently
• Basic computer literacy

Nice to Have

• Call center or BPO experience
• Customer support or telesales experience
• Familiarity with remote communication tools

Training and Onboarding

• Initial onboarding period: approximately 2 weeks
• Includes training on systems, workflows, and communication approach
• Practice scenarios and guided sessions
• Ongoing support and access to learning materials
• No prior experience in the travel industry is required. Experience in call center or customer support is considered an advantage.

Earnings Structure and Progression

• Compensation is performance-based and depends on activity level and results.
• Stage 1 – Training period (Weeks 1–2): Focus on learning systems and tools
• Stage 2 – Beginner level (Month 1–2): Typical range: $200–$500/month
• Stage 3 – Consistent performance: Typical range: $600–$1000/month
• Stage 4 – Advanced level: $1200–$2000+ monthly, depending on volume and conversion
