We are seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant for a 6+ month project in Vienna, Austria, focusing on HR business function implementation and payroll transformation.

Responsibilities

As an HR Business Function Implementation Practitioner, you will support the implementation of HR business function activities in Austria while driving end-to-end performance improvements.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing, designing, and redesigning HR business processes.
• Acting as the subject matter expert for Austrian HR and payroll transformation initiatives.
• Collaborating across multiple teams and taking ownership of key decisions.
• Providing solutions for both team-specific and cross-functional challenges.
• Serving as the internal expert on Austrian payroll legislation, income tax, and social security regulations.
• Optimizing HR business processes using deep expertise in SAP HCM Payroll.
• Leading structured knowledge transfer sessions with client stakeholders.
• Defining and documenting Desktop Procedures (DTPs) to support scalable service delivery.
• Mentoring colleagues on Austrian employment law and payroll regulations.

Important: This is not an operational payroll processing role. Daily payroll administration is not part of the project.

Requirements

Must-have

• SAP HCM Payroll
• Business Process Design
• Deep knowledge of Austrian payroll legislation
• Austrian tax law (EStG)
• Austrian Social Security Act (ASVG)
• Austrian Working Time Act (AZG)
• Collective bargaining agreements (Kollektivverträge)
• Fluent German and English

Nice to have

• SAP Certified Associate – SAP HCM Payroll for SAP S/4HANA (C_HCMP)
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM Payroll for SAP S/4HANA 2023 (C_HCMP_2311)

We Expect You to Have

• Experience in leading payroll transformation initiatives.
• Ability to build internal capabilities.
• Skills to enable the client's team to independently manage payroll processes after project completion.
