About the Position
We are looking for a skilled SDET with 3+ years of experience in software development, test automation, and QA to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or from our offices in Armenia, Cyprus, or Poland.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the improvement of the test framework and testing infrastructure.
- Mentor QA Engineers in test automation practices and best approaches.
- Perform regular code reviews to maintain high code quality and consistency.
- Safeguard product quality through proactive testing and automation strategies.
- Access automation needs in Domain.
- Advocate for quality engineering best practices, support developers in creating effective automated tests, contribute to CI/CD quality gates, and leverage risk-based testing approaches to maximize value and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development, test automation, or QA.
- Proficiency in Python as a programming language.
- Ability to design and write modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, code reviews).
- Experience with at least one Python testing framework (pytest preferred).
- Practical experience in building automated tests (unit, API, UI) and integrating them into frameworks.
- Knowledge of test case design and ability to translate it into automated coverage.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development practices (branches, pull requests, code review).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how to integrate automated tests.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and libraries/tools for API testing (Postman, Python requests).
- Proficiency with gRPC.
- Ability to debug code and automation frameworks, not just test failures.
- Understanding of test data management and working with multiple environments.
- Interest in framework design and evolution (not only test creation).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to challenge/improve existing test practices.
