Security Engineer Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) (m/w/d)

The department is responsible for the public and central Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for certificate management. This secures network access, secures procedures with reliable identities, and thus strengthens the security of our customers. In addition to the technical provision of services on Linux and Windows systems, consulting and controlling our service providers is another focus of the department. The strategic orientation of the certificate infrastructure is also managed.

Responsibilities

• Steering and further development of the operation of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) platform
• Integration, configuration, and parameterization of the used technical components
• Ensuring monitoring for critical system resources of the PKI operation
• Quality assurance of supplies from external service providers
• Tool-supported management of certificates and user groups
• Consulting and supporting PKI users, application deployment, and production

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or vocational training with a focus on IT administration and security, or comparable qualification
• At least two to three years of relevant professional experience
• Good knowledge of IT security with a focus on public key infrastructures
• Taking responsibility for own areas of work and willingness to work independently and solution-oriented
• Conceptual, solution-oriented, and logical thinking paired with creativity and initiative
• Team spirit paired with a conceptual, structured working method both in teams and in projects
