About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Consultant / Manager IT Audit & Compliance - Insurance to join our team in Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Köln, and München. You will be responsible for managing mandates and projects in the IT Audit & Advisory sector, focusing on regulatory and supervisory IT requirements for insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Manage Mandates and Projects: Take ownership of mandates and projects in IT Audit & Advisory, serving as the primary contact for our clients in the insurance sector.
• Focus on Regulatory Compliance: Specialize in auditing and advising on regulatory and supervisory IT requirements, particularly in IT Governance, IT Compliance, operational resilience, and DORA.
• Utilize Modern Tools: Employ advanced software tools for data-driven audit approaches, derive actionable recommendations, and provide strategic support to clients on IT and digitalization issues.
• Project and Team Management: Take on (partial) project responsibilities, coordinate teams, and participate in annual audits of insurance companies and other audit types (e.g., Internal IT Audit, Friendly Audits/ Dry Runs).
• Collaborate with Experienced Team: Join a long-established team passionate about IT regulation, auditing, and operational digital resilience.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, (Economic) Computer Science, (Economic) Mathematics, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on insurance.
• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in financial auditing, IT revision, or IT-related consulting, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, IT compliance, business processes, and IT system landscapes.
• Analytical and Project Management Skills: Strong analytical abilities and experience in managing complex projects and presenting results to stakeholders.
• Communication and Team Skills: Confident demeanor, excellent communication skills, team orientation, and very good German and English language skills, including willingness to travel.
