About the Position

COMPARUS GmbH is seeking a (Senior) Consultant PMO / Consultant Project Management Office (f/m/d) for a full-time position with hybrid work options in Hamburg, DE.

Responsibilities

• You translate strategy into action: You consistently align portfolios, budgets, and capacities with corporate goals and ensure scalable, predictable delivery capabilities.
• You are responsible for controlling and forecasting and prepare deviations for decision-making.
• You create executive transparency with focused dashboards (costs, flow, predictability, value contribution) and concise decision storytelling.
• You identify AI use cases, pilot PoC/MVP, and transfer successful solutions into operation in a compliant manner.
• You advise specialist and IT leadership on target visions and operating models and moderate priority and budget-related steering meetings up to C-level.
• You are responsible for end-to-end value/benefit management (business case, KPIs/OKRs, benefit realization, post-implementation reviews) and ensure the alignment of business and IT roadmaps.

Requirements

• 6+ years of PMO/portfolio experience in agile software development, including 3+ years of scaled experience (e.g. SAFe/LeSS).
• Strong finance/controlling expertise (EVM, driver-based forecasts, business case).
• Confident in Jira/Confluence and Power BI/Excel; SQL basics.
• Confident facilitation & stakeholder communication up to C-level; German C1, English B2/C1.
