We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong analytical and engineering skills to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that populate our data lake and data warehouse.

Work Mode: Prague Preferrable | Remote is ok as well.

Might require overlap with EST time zone (1-2 Hours)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Databricks to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Develop data transformation rules and data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Implement data quality checks, maintain data catalogues, and use orchestration, logging, and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with Product Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to make data accessible and understandable.
• Use test-driven development practices and Git-based version control with branching strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on ETL experience on Databricks.
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong database experience and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark (2-3 years), Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
• Good communication and SDLC documentation skills.
