Senior Front-End Engineer (React & Micro Frontend)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to shape Front-end architecture for a modern, high-performance web platform for a global financial services client. You will guide technical decisions across a micro-frontend ecosystem, mentor engineers and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences for advisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements in code quality through refactoring and Front-end best practices
• Guide state management and async data flows using Redux and React Query
• Build and maintain scalable React applications within a micro frontend architecture
• Partner with Back-end engineers to integrate REST APIs effectively
• Establish reliable automated testing using Playwright and related tools
• Mentor engineers through pairing, feedback and code reviews
• Contribute to architecture discussions, design reviews and team process improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience building modern Front-end applications using React
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Background in Front-end architecture, responsive design and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with Redux and React Query
• Knowledge of micro frontend patterns such as Module Federation
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Playwright or similar automated testing tools
• Clear communication in spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for sprint and task tracking
• Banking or financial services experience
• Experience working within enterprise design systems
