About the Role

We are seeking a (Senior) Manager SAP Programme Assurance & Transformation Governance to lead complex SAP transformation programs and governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex consulting mandates in the areas of SAP S/4HANA Programme Assurance, Transformation Governance, PMO/PgMO, Programme Health Checks, and Test-, Cutover-, and Go-live-Readiness.
• Establish governance structures, role models, steering mechanisms, RAID logics, decision processes, and management-ready reporting formats for complex SAP programs. You will be responsible for evaluating program status, risks, dependencies, critical paths, delivery quality, and go-live readiness.
• Prepare decision and escalation documents for program leaders, CFOs, CIOs, Steering Committees, Audit Committees, and Internal Audit functions.
• Support clients in recovery, replanning, and risk resolution situations in SAP programs under time, quality, or budget pressure.
• Actively contribute to the development of SAP Programme Assurance methodology, templates, proposal components, and thought leadership, working closely with colleagues from Consulting, Audit, Risk, Tax, Financial Advisory, and the international Forvis-Mazars network.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in leading or quality assurance of complex SAP, ERP, or IT transformation programs, ideally in the S/4HANA context, and solid knowledge in program management, PMO/PgMO, governance design, risk management, executive reporting, test-/cutover-readiness, and program recovery.
• Experience in working with business units, IT, system integrators, service providers, and management stakeholders in international program environments.
• Confident and structured approach at the management level, with the ability to clearly, precisely, and decision-orientedly present complex issues.
• Experience in consulting, internal program management, IT transformation, audit/risk advisory, or a comparable role, and a passion for building a growing SAP Advisory Capability technically and commercially.
• Fluent in German and English, with project-related willingness to travel.
