About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with expertise in Qualys AI, Exposure Threat Management (ETM), and security process engineering to support enterprise Threat & Vulnerability Management initiatives. This role will lead AI/ETM onboarding efforts, implement and optimize Qualys AI and TruConfirm capabilities, and drive the adoption of advanced security workflows and automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong security engineering experience, hands-on expertise with Qualys platforms, and the ability to design scalable processes that improve vulnerability management and security operations across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
- Lead AI/ETM onboarding initiatives and support the implementation of new vulnerability management and exposure management capabilities.
- Configure, administer, and optimize Qualys AI, TruConfirm, and related Qualys platform features.
- Design and implement security processes, workflows, and operational improvements to enhance Threat & Vulnerability Management programs.
- Support the development and deployment of new enterprise security capabilities and automation initiatives.
- Integrate Qualys solutions and security tools with existing infrastructure, operational platforms, and security workflows.
- Manage configuration, policy administration, governance controls, and operational standards across supported security platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and support during onboarding, implementation, and capability rollout activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Qualys AI, ETM, and supporting security technologies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, engineering, and governance teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, operational procedures, and platform standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management, Exposure Management, or Cybersecurity Operations.
- Hands-on experience with Qualys platforms, including Qualys AI, TruConfirm, VMDR, ETM, or related capabilities.
- Strong experience supporting AI/ETM onboarding, process engineering, and enterprise security tool implementations.
- Expertise in designing and improving security workflows, governance processes, and operational controls.
- Experience integrating security platforms with enterprise infrastructure and security ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, attack surface management, exposure management, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with automation, workflow optimization, and enterprise security operations.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Qualys Certified Specialist, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent are preferred.

- Competitive salary between $105,500 - $124,000 per year depending on experience and other qualifications.
