Senior Systems Engineer (DevOps)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help you build secure CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud and container deployments, and standardize release practices at enterprise scale. You will partner with engineering, security, and operations to improve deployment reliability, auditability, and speed across multiple application portfolios in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment templates
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration tools
• Enable reliable releases across development, test, staging, and production environments
• Support Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms including configuration, secrets, and artifacts
• Embed security and quality gates into pipelines including scanning and compliance checks
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, support incidents, and drive root cause analysis
• Standardize DevOps workflows, improve governance, and reduce manual operational effort
• Partner with development, testing, security, and operations teams to drive operational readiness

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container-based delivery workflows
• Strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, and security groups
• Demonstrated ability to implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Proven experience automating operational tasks using scripting such as Shell and Python
• Experience with deployment automation, rollback approaches, and release governance in production environments
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices including integrating security controls into pipelines
• Clear communication and confidence working across product, engineering, security, and operations stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and platform automation
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus Repository Manager, and vulnerability management workflows
• Exposure to regulated environments requiring auditability and change control
