About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Unreal Engine Programmer to implement gameplay features, integrate core game systems, support multiplayer gameplay, and collaborate closely with designers, artists, and QA teams to deliver polished, production-ready experiences across PC and console platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Implement gameplay mechanics and features using Unreal Engine C++ and Blueprints
  • Develop and maintain systems supporting player interactions, combat mechanics, traversal systems, and quest and mission logic
  • Integrate gameplay features with animation systems, UI systems, multiplayer functionality, and audio systems
  • Transform design concepts into working gameplay in close collaboration with Game Designers
  • Work with Artists and Technical Artists to integrate assets into gameplay experiences
  • Optimize gameplay systems to meet performance targets across platforms
  • Debug and resolve gameplay, integration, and performance issues
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards
  • Support milestone delivery through implementation, testing assistance, and bug fixing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing games with Unreal Engine
  • Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine 5
  • Experience developing gameplay systems using Unreal Engine C++ and Blueprints
  • Understanding of Unreal Engine architecture, including Actors, Components, Gameplay Framework, and Animation Systems
  • Experience integrating and debugging gameplay features in large codebases
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and debugging and profiling
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Perforce
  • Experience shipping or contributing significantly to commercial game projects
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams including Design, Art, QA, and Production
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
  • Understanding of game development workflows from prototyping through production and release

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multiplayer gameplay implementation and replication
  • Familiarity with Gameplay Ability System (GAS), AI systems (Behavior Trees, EQS), Animation Blueprints, and Control Rig
  • Experience developing for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch
  • Experience working on AAA or large-scale Unreal Engine projects
  • Knowledge of build pipelines and CI/CD workflows
