About the Position

We are seeking a Specialist for Commercialization in the Commercialization Department to join our team at Łukasiewicz - Przemysłowy Instytut Motoryzacji.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company at trade fairs and events: participate in industry trade shows, actively present the Institute's technological solutions, and establish relationships with potential business partners.
• Bridging science and business: actively seeking research challenges and technological problems from companies that our Institute can solve.
• Collaboration with R&D departments: daily discussions with research team leaders to verify the market potential of projects and determine optimal commercialization paths.
• Market analysis and business modeling: studying market demand, creating business plans, and business models for new technologies.
• Practical commercialization: participating in the processes of implementing solutions to the market, including models such as creating spin-off companies, licensing, or selling technology.

Requirements

• Higher education, preferred fields: engineering, management, and economics.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercialization, innovation, technology transfer, or B2B sales.
• Understanding of business and science: experience in working with both the business and scientific/engineering environments.
• Developed negotiation and sales skills.
• English language proficiency at least at level B2 (essential for international activities).
• Independence, good work organization, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Technical education, which will significantly facilitate daily communication with scientists.
• Contacts in industries such as: electromobility, transport automation, robotics, Industry 4.0, defense, and state security.
• Practical experience in specific commercialization models (establishing spin-offs, selling and licensing IP).
• Experience in applying for national or international projects within scientific-industrial consortia.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector.
• Driving license category B.
