About the Position

Strong Junior/ Middle PHP Developer (Symfony)

We are looking for a Strong Junior/Middle PHP Developer (Symfony) to join our Corefy team in Kyiv, Ukraine. As a part of our integration team, you will work with numerous payment providers and see your code impact real transactions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Integrations: Analyze technical documentation, develop and write integrations from scratch with new payment providers, update existing ones, and perform bug fixes.
• Code Quality: Write clean code, refactor, and continuously improve the shared codebase.
• Optimization: Work on improving code performance and writing auxiliary tools for development.
• Code Review: Conduct code reviews for team members.
• No-code Solutions: Actively participate in creating automation tools that speed up the integration process in the company.
• Task Management: Handle requests and tickets from adjacent technical and client teams.

Requirements

• Commercial Experience: At least 3 years of PHP experience (versions 7.4 and above) with Symfony (5/6) - 2+ years.
• Database Proficiency: Confident work with PostgreSQL / MySQL.
• API Experience: Experience with REST API or third-party service integrations.
• Unit Testing: Ability to cover code with unit tests.
• Docker, Redis, and Message Brokers: Practical experience with Docker, Redis, and message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka).
• Architecture Knowledge: Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, DRY, YAGNI, KISS, GoF.
• Proactivity: Proactive attitude, continuous learning, responsibility for quality and delivery time, ability to switch between contexts.
• Self-sufficiency: Ability to independently gather requirements, understand technical documentation, and interact with payment providers and internal support teams (CS).

Nice to Have

• ELK stack, Fluentd, Sentry, Victoria Metrics, Grafana: Experience with these tools.
• Fintech Experience: Experience in fintech projects.
