About the Position

Team Lead SEO

We are seeking a Team Lead SEO to manage our SEO strategies and team in a fast-growing business environment. This role is remote and offers the opportunity to be part of a multicultural team of top professionals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of SEO strategies across projects.
• Identify and scale growth opportunities.
• Ensure achievement of KPIs across all SEO projects within the team.
• Conduct regular audits of project status: rankings, traffic, and business metrics.
• Detect performance drops in a timely manner and organize recovery actions.
• Forecast results and adjust strategies proactively.
• Coordinate and manage SEO specialists (Senior, Middle) to achieve project KPIs.
• Distribute projects based on expertise level, workload, and growth areas.
• Ensure quality control of specialists’ work.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
• Drive the professional development of the team.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new employees.
• Provide high-level quality control of presale audits.
• Conduct performance reviews: competency assessment and goal setting.
• Implement and maintain best practices within the team.
• Ensure all SEO activities are executed systematically, on time, and aligned with KPI achievement.
• Standardize and control project documentation.
• Improve team efficiency.
• Identify process bottlenecks and initiate improvements.
• Monitor project expenses within the approved budget.
• Evaluate the efficiency of budget allocation.

Requirements

• SEO Expertise

  • Deep understanding of how search engines work.
  • Expert knowledge of ranking factors and Google algorithms, with the ability to adapt to updates.
  • Experience in developing and implementing SEO strategies.
  • Experience working in highly competitive niches.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Ability to analyze traffic trends, identify causes of drops, and create recovery plans.
  • Experience with iGaming-specific SEO challenges: blocks, dropped domains, migrations, satellite sites, cloaking.
  • Ability to conduct technical audits and effectively define tasks for development teams.
  • Experience with A/B testing of SEO hypotheses: ideation, execution, and evaluation.

• Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to build long-term SEO strategies.
  • Understanding the impact of SEO on business metrics.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and implement them.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of business priorities.

• Team & Project Management

  • Experience managing an SEO team (or mentoring specialists).
  • Skills in developing and growing team members.
  • Experience conducting performance reviews and setting development goals.
  • Hiring and evaluation skills.
  • Ability to allocate projects based on team capacity and competencies.
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously (focus on management rather than execution).
  • Backlog management skills: prioritization, timeline control, and risk management.
  • Ability to delegate effectively with quality control (without micromanagement).
  • Ability to implement best practices.
  • Ability to improve team efficiency.
  • Experience in process standardization.
