About the Role

Your mission is to ensure that we at SysEleven can always respond to security incidents or prevent them from happening in the first place. Through your initiatives, you will sharpen the awareness of information security throughout the organization. The development, communication, and prioritization of measures that contribute to our corporate strategy and information security are the essential points of your activity. You will pay particular attention to supporting team members in their development and creating a positive working environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting data protection and certification audits (BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001) as well as implementing and monitoring security guidelines
• Defining and updating policy documents and analyzing and tracking security incidents
• Advising and training employees on security-related tasks (e.g., in the areas of software and IT architecture, infrastructure security)
• Conducting feedback discussions and deriving measures to promote individual development
• Defining, implementing, and further developing core processes, e.g., incident, problem, and change management
• Coordinating data protection issues as an interface with the external data protection officer

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in the field of information security management, ideally in a leading position
• Knowledge of common standards and best practices in the field of information security (ISO 27001 is a must, BSI IT-Grundschutz is a plus, secrecy protection is a plus)
• Experience in leading audits and dealing with auditors as well as coordinating data protection issues
• Strong skills in project management/document management and leading teams
• High sense of responsibility and strong analytical skills, as well as good communication and presentation skills
• Ideally, a completed degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable field
