About the Position
ETERNA LAW, one of the top 8 law firms in Ukraine and highly recommended in the Legal 500 EMEA 2023, is currently seeking a highly motivated lawyer to join our criminal law practice. Our firm excels in various legal areas including commercial law, corporate law, M&A, dispute resolution, taxation, real estate, labor law, energy, intellectual property, international trade, banking, financial law, and capital markets, as well as private clients.
Responsibilities
- Participation in local, regional, and global projects as a team member.
- Analysis of cases under Ukrainian and foreign legislation.
- Providing legal advice to clients in the field of criminal law.
- Preparation and submission of procedural documents at all stages of criminal proceedings.
- Monitoring legislation (changes in criminal law and procedure).
- Participation in project negotiations.
- Communication with clients.
Requirements
- Higher legal education is mandatory.
- Practical experience as a lawyer in criminal law for at least 3 years.
- Certificate of the right to practice law.
- Excellent knowledge of the legislation.
- Thorough knowledge of criminal law and procedure.
- Practical experience in independently handling cases at all stages of criminal proceedings.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Independent decision-making.
- Ability to work in a team.
