Associate in HVAC Engineering
Exciting Opportunity for an Associate in HVAC Engineering!
Join a leading MEP engineering firm in the heart of New York City, where innovation meets sustainability. We’re looking for an experienced Associate to enhance our HVAC department in Lower Manhattan.
Compensation: $122,000 - $150,000 base salary per year

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Department Leader to develop conceptual designs and guide your team through project execution.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and project alignment.
- Oversee and review all project documentation to guarantee timely and precise implementation.
- Ensure all technical and functional project deliverables are met.
- Confidently present project designs in meetings with stakeholders.
- Keep the project team informed and aligned with design expectations and deadlines.
- Initiate and manage design changes, proposals, and approvals effectively.
- Lead the successful execution of multiple fit-out/renovation and complex projects.
Requirements
- 8-14 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) and calculations.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of project scopes, trade-related codes, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Familiarity with documentation requirements for all deliverable phases (SD, DD, CD, and specifications).
