Working side by side with a steadfast team of Product Experts who define the scope, you will translate product requirements into scalable, cloud-native software architectures and guide your development team from design to production.
You will own the end-to-end technical solution and new agentic use cases, ensuring that system design decisions balance correctness, performance, and maintainability. You drive architectural governance, evaluate technology choices, and act as the primary technical point of contact for all development teams on a day-to-day basis.
Direct involvement with customers on technical requirements and solution design is an important and integral part of your work.

- Exemplary knowledge of Agentic AI, SAP Business AI, and modern AI engineering capabilities, including their useful application in industry-specific technical architectures.
- Exemplary knowledge of governance, security, compliance, and data and privacy considerations. Proven experience optimizing complex, high-throughput systems for performance and cost efficiency is expected.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams, set architectural direction, and align cross-functional stakeholders on technical trade-offs and delivery priorities.
- Proactively uses AI in daily engineering workflows to accelerate design, code reviews, testing, automation, and quality assurance of results.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
Nice to Have
- Several years of hands-on experience in software architecture and development, ideally in the utilities or energy industry.
- Deep knowledge of the technical landscape - from message exchange to smart meter gateway integration - and staying informed about relevant regulatory and technology trends.
- Based on your architectural expertise, your knowledge of cloud-native patterns, and your solid analytical skills, you design solutions that are both technically sound and valuable to customers.
We Offer
- Opportunity to shape the technical foundation of solutions that run critical energy infrastructure.
- Be part of the Industry AI unit for Energy and Natural Resources, a team focused on turning Industry AI opportunities in the ENR space into measurable customer value.
- Raise engineering standards beyond your immediate responsibility by spearheading architectural best practices, fostering an AI-powered development culture, and enabling your team to deliver with confidence and momentum.
