Finance Manager

About the Position

A well-established hotel is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the Financial Controller in managing the hotel's day-to-day finance function.

Responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller in managing the hotel's day-to-day finance function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor revenue, costs, cash flow, and departmental performance, identifying opportunities for cost control.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits and prepare required financial documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Fully qualified accountant via ACCA or Masters in Accountancy/CPA.
• Previous experience within the hospitality industry will be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and manage departmental operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
