Responsibilities

• Analyse current financial processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities and cost savings.
• Design target processes and provide recommendations for target state business architecture.
• Lead and support finance transformation projects across the insurance industry, including process improvement, system implementations.
• Gather requirements for General Ledger integrations or Data warehouse dedicated for financial reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and IT to align transformation initiatives with business strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance roles within the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance finance operations, including premium and claims accounting, reinsurance, and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards such as GAAP or IFRS 17 or Solvency II.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to gather accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in IT platform implementation and understanding IT project management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in General ledger implementations (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday) or integrations of core insurance systems with General Ledger.
• Experience in financial data analysis and reports creation: SQL, Business Intelligence tools e.g. Power BI, excellent excel skills.
