Project and Team

Domain/Industry: Fintech, AI-automation for accounts payable (processing and paying supplier invoices) for enterprise clients.

Description: Our client is an Australian product company offering a SaaS platform that automates the entire accounts payable cycle: AI invoice capture (OCR, e-invoicing/PEPPOL), invoice matching with orders and contracts, supplier onboarding and verification, fraud and duplicate detection, payment approval and orchestration, and expense analytics. The platform operates on top of clients' ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, SAP Ariba). Clients include large logistics, mining, and educational companies, Australian government agencies, and a bank in the UAE. QA tasks include manual testing of the web platform and its integrations, test documentation, regression testing before releases, and API and data verification.

Team Composition: A small product team from the client (developers, Head of Engineering) in Australia, Dubai, and Pakistan; a.NET developer from our team is already working on the project.

Time Zone: The client is in Australia (Sydney, UTC+10) - the first half of the workday in Kyiv coincides with the end of the workday in Sydney.

Project Age: An existing production environment, 4+ years.

Technologies and Tools

Product: Web platform (SaaS), backend on.NET.

Testing: Manual functional and regression testing, test cases and checklists, bug reports, REST API testing (Postman/Swagger), basic SQL for data verification.

Communication: Microsoft Teams.

Legal and Financial Conditions

Probation Period: 1 month.

Legal Arrangement: Cooperation only through an Individual Entrepreneur of the 3rd group, and only to a hryvnia account. If you do not yet have an Individual Entrepreneur, we will provide the necessary consultation and assistance in opening it.

Compensation: Gross salary with independent tax payment on the received amount as an Individual Entrepreneur: 5% single tax + 1% military levy + VAT (1902.34 UAH/month). We provide accounting assistance with reports.

Cooperation Model: Contract with a fixed hourly rate. Payment is made for the actual hours worked, so the client does not provide a social package (paid vacations and sick leave) for this position.

Work Process and Conditions

Schedule: Mostly from 10:00 to 18:00 (Kyiv time), but a flexible approach is possible by agreement with the client.

Equipment: The company provides a laptop if needed.

Time Tracking: According to client requirements, using the Hubstaff program, which needs to be installed on the laptop. If the project involves issuing a work laptop, the tracker will be installed there; otherwise, we recommend creating a separate user profile on your own laptop for work tasks. The program records keyboard/mouse activity and takes screenshots (every 10 minutes). This is a formality for the Hourly model and does not take away flexibility: if you move away from the laptop, the tracker will stop itself after 20 minutes of inactivity. You can delete screenshots yourself if they contain any personal information (along with them, the corresponding 10-minute time interval will be deleted). If you forget to turn on the tracker, you can contact the manager, who will add it manually. There is no micromanagement from the client side, data is only reviewed in case of critical performance issues.

Technical Interview: 30–60 minutes, in English (discussion of your experience).
