Python Engineer with AWS and AI agents experience

About the Position

BigTree108 is seeking a Python Engineer with AWS and AI agents experience to join our consumer protection AI startup in the USA. This is a full-time remote position.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Implement AI agents using Pydantic AI and RAG
• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate React components
• Manage and maintain databases using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews
• Provide daily written updates and ensure seamless communication with the client

Requirements

• Required Experience:
  • Commercial experience with Python, React, AWS, OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, AI agents (Pydantic AI), and RAG
  • At least 4 hours of overlap with US Eastern time
  • B1+ English proficiency with clear written updates
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and work within the client's systems
• Very Important for this Client: No automation, installation, or changes without prior communication

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-tenant AWS deployments

About the Company

Our client is a small startup in the consumer protection AI industry, developing two products: a scam detection tool and a consumer complaint platform. The team is small, and you will be the sole developer, working closely with the project manager and the client's CTO.
