About the Position

OnTheGoSystems (the developers of WPML and PTC) is looking for a practical Marketing Leader who embraces AI and automation. Content drives how hundreds of thousands of people discover, understand, and choose our translation and localization products.

AI is already a core part of our way of working. We use it to move faster, automate work, research, analyze, develop, and improve our products and processes.

We are looking for someone who uses AI agents, automation, integrations, and structured workflows to get real marketing work done – and can show us the results.

You won't be joining to follow a set marketing manual. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your ideas and shape how marketing works at OTGS, reaching hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement marketing and growth opportunities.
• Actively work in content, SEO/GEO, email, product marketing, acquisition, conversion, and other areas where you can make an impact.
• Use AI agents and automation as a core part of your daily work.
• Develop and improve workflows that help us achieve more with AI.
• Utilize data and business results to understand what works, what doesn't, and what we should improve.
• Collaborate directly with product, development, and support teams to understand our products, customers, and opportunities.
• Take ownership from identifying an opportunity to implementation, measurement, and improvement.

Requirements

• You already use AI agents, automation, or advanced AI workflows in your daily work, take responsibility for the quality of their results, and can show them to us.
• You adapt quickly when priorities change and can work effectively even when not everything is clearly defined from the start.
• You combine strategic thinking with strong practical implementation. You can recognize what needs to be done and turn ideas into action.
• You understand how marketing connects with business results and can provide concrete examples of your impact.
• You enjoy working in various marketing areas, taking on different roles, and learning new things as needed.
• You have experience in marketing technical products. A background in software, SaaS, WordPress, or a similar industry would be particularly relevant.
• You work independently, make decisions, and drive things forward without needing detailed instructions.

Our Hiring Process

We have a clear and structured hiring process that is fair, transparent, and respectful of your time. Each step helps both you and us understand if a collaboration makes sense.

You will have 2–3 interviews lasting 60–90 minutes each. You'll speak with our recruiters, team leader, and members of the team you're applying to join.

After successful interviews, we may invite you to a 14-day paid trial focused on real tasks, followed by signing a contract as an independent contractor and a 3-month probation period if everything goes well.

Hiring Process Details

1. HR Interview

The first step is a conversation with our recruiter.

We'll discuss your background, experience, and what you're looking for next. We'll also explain how we work at OnTheGoSystems and what the role entails. You'll have time to ask questions.

2. Technical Interviews

If we proceed, you'll be invited to 1–2 technical interviews lasting 60–90 minutes each.

You'll speak with developers and team leaders from the team you might join. The focus is on real experience, problem-solving, and your approach to work.

3. 14-Day Trial and Probation

After successful technical interviews, we'll move to a 14-day paid trial. You'll work with your team leader and mentor on real tasks to see if we're a good fit.

If this goes well, the next step is signing a contract as an independent contractor and moving to a 3-month probation period. This allows both sides to see how the collaboration feels in a real environment.
