Responsibilities

In your role as Demand Planner, you will manage the Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP) of your area of responsibility to provide the most realistic demand forecast to the International Supply Chain, implementing the following four aspects:

• You promote a demand-driven supply chain and consider clear service and added value for the customer.
• With the help of relevant business data, you continuously optimize the information, goods, and financial flows along your entire value chain and improve the flexibility, reactivity, and reliability of these while considering continuous cost optimizations.
• You anticipate business activities, act proactively, and thus give your supply chain position significant weight within the business.
• You create forecasts based on historical sales data and other relevant information.
• Your goal is to optimize inventory to meet demand and avoid overstock.
• You work closely with various departments such as Sales, Marketing, and International Supply to exchange information and improve the accuracy of forecasts.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics / Business Engineering / Economic Mathematics preferably with a focus on Supply Chain or Sales
• Ideally at least 3-5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain or Business Planning
• Quick comprehension, high attention to detail, and a confident handling of complex issues and broad networks, a high degree of initiative and responsibility, clear and effective communication, and the ability to build constructive networks with various interfaces
• Structured working method with a secure sense of priorities and timing as well as forward-thinking to avoid potential risks, pronounced entrepreneurial thinking, and enthusiasm for the high pace and dynamics of the consumer goods industry
• You are fluent in German and English.
