About the Role:

As a motivated and ambitious Senior Microsoft Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for building and developing security solutions based on Microsoft 365 and Azure. You will work closely with our clients to develop tailored security strategies, leveraging your extensive knowledge of Microsoft Cloud technologies. As part of our growing team in Austria, you will play a key role in establishing Experts Inside in the DACH region. Your ability to work flexibly and remotely allows you to efficiently and effectively address the needs of our international clients.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of security solutions for Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Advising and supporting our clients in planning and executing their security projects related to Microsoft 365 Data Security and Threat Protection, as well as the general M365 E5 Security Portfolio
• Conducting workshops on Microsoft 365 Data Security and Threat Protection
• Creating technical security concepts and architecture designs for Microsoft 365 Data Security and Threat Protection, as well as the general M365 E5 Security Portfolio
• Optimizing the security infrastructure and continuously improving security processes in Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Collaborating with international teams and clients

Requirements

• Microsoft Expertise: You are familiar with the Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms and understand what good security solutions mean for businesses.
• Consultant Mindset: You explain complex issues clearly, make decisions based on facts, and proactively drive solutions.
• Technical Understanding: You don't need to be a developer, but you understand how AI agents, APIs, and data flows work, allowing you to work at eye level with the technical team.
• Passion & Curiosity: You follow Microsoft news, are interested in Copilot features and AI trends, and want to not only manage but also shape.
• Language Skills: You communicate confidently in German and English, both written and spoken, internally and with clients.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as EU AI Act, DSGVO, ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, or NIS2
• Relevant certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-401, AZ-500, AI-102
