Middle IT Business Analyst

Akurateco is a cutting-edge white-label payment software provider with 15+ years of hands-on experience in the payment industry. We bring our clients fully-brandable and easily customizable payment software.

We are actively looking for a Middle IT Business Analyst!

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and structuring requirements for product development.
• Analyzing API documentation and writing tasks/specifications for integration development.
• Communicating with stakeholders, business representatives, and development teams.
• Detailing requirements (business, functional, and non-functional).
• Creating user interface wireframes/prototypes.
• Managing change requests and conducting impact analysis.
• Participating in backlog refinement, preparing UAT scenarios, and supporting the delivery process.
• Facilitating effective collaboration and ensuring process transparency within the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of successful experience in IT, covering the full lifecycle of BA tasks: from initial requirements gathering to UAT coordination and support.
• Hands-on experience in making informed decisions and effectively prioritizing requirements in collaboration with PM/PO.
• Experience in creating specifications, user stories / use cases, UI wireframes, and UML diagrams.
• Practical experience in API analysis (JSON, XML, webhooks/callback mechanisms), drafting technical requirements, and working with Postman / Swagger.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data verification and testing support.
• Strong facilitation skills for meetings and requirements refinement; experience participating in UAT, demos, and refinement sessions.
• Ability to clearly articulate requirements in simple terms for both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• English - Intermediate+ (documentation & communication).
• Ability to work with a rapidly scaling and evolving product.

Nice to Have

• Experience in FinTech / E-commerce projects: understanding of payment flows, integrations, security standards, and merchant management.
